Vivo X100 Pro should have 200MP sensor, but not in the main camera

Vivo Mobile should soon update its line of advanced cell phones, and new leaks show what the Vivo X100 Pro Plus camera set can look like. The model should be another option with a 200 MP sensor, but not the main camera, competing with Honor and its Magic 6 Ultimate for the post of first cell phone with a zoom camera of such resolution.

After all, the highest resolution component would be aimed at the telephoto periscope, which has the greatest optical zoom capabilities. With a higher pixel density, it becomes possible to perform digital cuts on the image and obtain even more zoom, without significant loss of quality.

However, it was also said that this camera can bring a 50 MP sensor, with support for pixel binning. In this case, the photos would have a lower resolution, but the larger pixel size allows for more satisfactory performance in scenes with poor lighting conditions.

The main camera of Vivo X100 Pro Plus should also be 50 MP, with a Sony IMX989 sensor and support for variable aperture. The component has large dimensions of 1 inch, and the light input control should expand the creative possibilities in photos and videos.

Two more rear cameras are expected for the device, including a 50 MP ultrawide with Sony IMX598 sensor. The fax without periscope would likewise have 50 MP, through the Sony IMX758

Vivo X100 Pro Plus should have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 120 Hz screen

In addition to the camera specifications, recent rumors also cited other possible aspects of the Vivo X100 Pro Plus data sheet, with advanced features in aspects such as performance and screen.

For this, the device would have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, Qualcomm’s new generation flagship platform that should be presented in October with a greater focus on performance.

The device should still bring several configuration options with LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.

The Vivo X100 Pro Plus display should be 6.78 inches, with support for refresh rates at 120 Hz. Its construction may still have IP68 resistance against water and dust, and the fingerprint sensor will be ultrasonic.

A specific date for the launch of the Vivo X100 line has not yet been disclosed, but the models are expected for the last quarter of this year. Until then, more details may be revealed through new leaks.
