iPhone 15 Pro will have 6GB of RAM and Apple A17 chip with 6 cores, says rumor

iPhone 15 Pro- Destined exclusively for the most powerful models of the iPhone 15 line that will be announced in September, Apple’s new A17 Bionic processor is expected with significant advances in performance, and news related to the chip’s specifications highlight that the brand must still remain safe to avoid major headaches.
Details released by reliable tipster Unknownz21 (also known as @uredditor) reveal that the A17 Bionic chip is codenamed T8130 and was developed with 6 CPU cores and 6 GPU cores — a standard maintained for some years — clocked at up to 3.7 GHz — frequency that should also be seen in its main rival Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, to be announced by Qualcomm at the end of October.
As expected, the Apple-designed processor will be manufactured by TSMC in the complex 3-nanometer lithography process, offering higher performance while consuming even less power than the A16 Bionic chip.
The leak also details that Apple will keep 6 GB of RAM in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Such information differs from expectations that the premium duo would be presented with 8 GB.
Finally, it is reinforced that the A17 chip will be used exclusively by the premium duo. The common pair, consisting of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, will use the previous generation A16 Bionic chip, intended for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Rumors have already revealed that Apple should bet on a greater amount of internal storage for the most expensive models, starting at 256 GB and jumping to up to 2 TB.
The iPhone 15 line will adopt a new design with rounded corners, 48 MP camera, Dynamic Island notch and USB-C connector, with the Pro duo having exclusive differentials. Find out what to expect from Apple’s event, which should take place on September 12th.
