Galaxy A05 wins certifications and should focus on low price
Samsung is preparing to launch the new Galaxy A05 soon, its long-awaited low-cost smartphone with an affordable price and basic specifications. Anticipating the international debut, new certification records begin to emerge indicating more details about the device, including some details of its technical sheet.
Identified by the Indian agency Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the US agency Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with model number SM-A055M, the Galaxy A05 is confirmed to support 4G LTE connectivity — no 5G network to reduce production costs — and Wi-Fi with support for 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies.
The device was already identified in July in certification by the Bluetooth SIG with Bluetooth version 3.0 and Android 13 from the factory with One UI 5 interface. It is possible that the smartphone adopts a lighter version of the operating system thanks to inferior processing.
So far, there are no further details regarding the Galaxy A05 data sheet, but based on the current Galaxy A04, we expect the model to maintain the 6.5-inch HD screen with a standard rate of 60 Hz and a large 5,000 mAh battery.
Equipped with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, the Galaxy A04 was launched with two rear cameras, a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor, in addition to a 5 MP front camera.
More information related to the new generation of Samsung’s entry-level smartphone should come out soon.
